My prother plays on a server that i think is called planet craft, and while i was watching him play once i saw that that server had stores, kind of like trade centers, ok for example, if you had a store it would start of with every reasourse as ZERO
and lets say theres a set price for each item in the game like for now lets say for basic purposes these are the only three items there amounts in stock, and there prices
Cobble (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: ZERO)
DIrt (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: ZERO)
Gravel (1 Coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: ZERO)
So then someone comes to the store and since the store has nothing in it they cant buy anything but they want to sell something instead, so they sell the store 5 stacks of cobble and 5 stacks of dirt and they got 10 coins
So now the store looks like this:
Cobble (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: FIVE)
DIrt (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: FIVE)
Gravel (1 Coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: ZERO)
So now the store has that and that person got coins.
Now a few days later the store looks like this (and note: everything is sold in stacks)
Cobble (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 72)
DIrt (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 30)
Gravel (1 Coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 109)
So then someone could come and buy something.
So the person has 10 coins and they come back to the store and buy 10 stacks of cobble.
So the store would in turn look like this:
Cobble (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 62)
DIrt (1 coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 30)
Gravel (1 Coin to sell or buy a stack) (Stock: 109)
They would now have zero coins and the store wouldh ave ten less cobble so this would make tradingg with other players GAME-wide easier and it seems cool to have a trading system like in the real world.
And Also:
There could either be one store at spawn with set coin prices and selling prices... or people could establish there own stores and set there own prices so everyone could compete...
But on the server im talking about they just had one main store at spawn
Some of The commands that they had:
/store list
/store list buy (item) (#)
/store list sell (item) (#)
/store list 2
/store list 3
or if each person could have there own store then it would be like this
/set store
/store list set sell price (item) (price)
/store list set buy price (item) (price)
/disband store
and then also the ones up there
/store list sell (item) (#)
and so on and so on
I just thought this would be a cool idea... please take it into consideration
