No I think it's more of a "Kress found a new way to be an ass" thread...

I don't pvp but all I seem to see is people complaining about it, because people like you like to bend the rules and even break them, then cry foul like you are being attacked.

I went into the nether, and my diamond sword was on my number 1 in weapon switch, and a stone sword in number 2. As you know, entering a portal makes u select whatever item is in the first slot. As soon as I entered, I switched back to slot 2, so my stone sword (this is my strategy for making my opponents underestimate my firepower).

As has already been mentioned, you were clearly there to PVP since you were holding a sword. If you wanted to switch away from your diamond sword to show that you're a non-combatant, you probably shouldn't have switched to another sword.

As I understand there is to be no PVP in the portal room, within reasonable limits. The point is don't abuse people who just came into the nether, and are trying to get their bearings straight (thus causing them grief).

By the time you exit the portal, wait a few seconds for the lag to dissipate, switch weapons, and start sending a chat message, you are no longer "trying to get your bearings straight." If the goal of the rules governing the nether is to protect people who "just came into the nether," then wouldn't Kress be more protected than you by these rules, since the fight started when he just entered but you were already standing around there?


The only "incident" to discuss is your inordinate anger at being killed in PvP while standing around holding a sword in the one part of the server where PvP is always on. Also, please note that Intelli has reportedly fixed the bug that allowed placement of water in the Nether... so no matter how hard you cry, no water block will appear there.

Wow, you got your butt wooped from kress.. again, and now your crying. I don't see anything new around here. Just another person raging on about being killed in the nether. You had 2 swords in your inventory and knew kress was in and out of the nether having died from him before that. Instead when he enters he sees you with a sword out in the portal room and does something anyone would of done, kill the enemy, its better than being dead. So what? you lost 2 swords 1 diamond and 1 stone I see nothing of such tragedy here.
