Yes, Battlefield 3 will definitely bury MW3 if they don't come out with anything innovative by the time they come out. Battlefield has so many things going for it. Although some people like to rambo in their games, and those are the types of people that will be playing MW3.
I'm really looking at the sniper class and the suppressing class. The new suppressing feature is interesting and will probably lead to some cool tactical advantages for both the attackers and the defenders. Going prone is going to help a lot with the sniping too.
I've only ever played Bad Company 1&2 and I've never had the pleasure of experiencing the joy of driving a jet or going prone as a sniper. It should be interesting, I can't wait until it finally comes out. I'm also excited for the destruction engine, it makes buildings a more important part of the game. If you have a building standing in between the attackers and the defender's flag or bomb or what have you, it makes it more important for the defenders to ensure that the building isn't destroyed, and it makes it important for the attackers to destroy it as quickly as possible. It makes the game more fun and realistic.
As for the PC/Xbox thing, I'll probably be getting it for Xbox, then after I get a better computer (I'm planning on getting a job so I can have some throw-away money to save up to build a supercharged computer) I'm going to buy a copy for the PC, because teamwork is much easier on a PC because you're able to strategize with your team before a battle, more effectively communicate with your team through headsets, issue commands easier from the click of the mouse, etc. (through the rose-menu or whatever they called it) I played Battlefield 2142 on the PC and, even without a headset, it was a much better experience than I ever got out of either Bad Company 1 or 2.
