They released the Hanger module over the summer, where you can basically walk around your ships in the hanger. They are planning on releasing a dogfighting alpha module this winter at some point. They are thinking they will have the single player campaign ready summer 2014, and are expecting to release the full game early 2015. That is a long time, but they have been hitting their milestones, and it will be a massive game. This is in contrast to a lot of other crowdfunded games that promise 6 months, and then delay for the next year.I know what you mean, my set idea of release dates is based on that fact that whenever a developer announces a game, they usually only release the game a year to a year and a half later and since most games follow the same pattern, a long wait time is usually uncommon. The fact that they have a major project and had released the trailer so early when they plan to release the game in 3 years just feels like an anomaly since most games release in half that time.
