I have some questions/comments/suggestions after reading the OP and the thread:
- As usual, I support full creeper effects, but w/e
- Chests:
- For /chests, what happens if a player named party, or friends, or realm joins the server? I don't actually think that this will be a problem
, but I still I suggest making it something like /chest toggle <user> or using add/remove.
- Also for /chest I would like a /chest list to see who has access.
- I'm just checking: are we actually going to have /sign for everyone?
- The election/leader system needs some work:
- What if a country doesn't want 3 leaders? In a 6 person country this would be half the population
- Even in a 15 person country, a coup could easily be staged with 3 people online
- Who does the election elect; does it elect one person to replace the oldest leader or replace all three?
- I propose a new leader/election system:
- First off, I think it should be called /leader, since the point is to adjust the leaders
- When a country is created, the leader of the party is automatically made the leader of the country
- If they want to add another leader, someone can use /leader add <user> (This will start the voting process, but not actually call for a vote yet; see 2 bullets down)
- To remove a leader the leader can either /leader abdicate
or /leader leave, or someone can use /leader remove <user>
- To start an actual vote three online players need to call for a vote within 5 minutes of each other
- The vote lasts 48 hours
- To make elections feasible only the people who log on during the vote are counted in the total number of people
- If a certain number of the people who log on vote yes the action is taken. For adding a leader: 50%. For removing a leader: 75% (These numbers can change, I'm just throwing something out there).
- idk if this is possible but it would be really cool if you got a pm on the forums if your country was having an election
- When anyone in the country logs on they get a message if there is an election happening
- So there will be no way to get back to the main spawn? That would make trading difficult
- I think that after the first week new people should be automatically assigned to a set of 9 or so plots near (3x3) spawn in a special country called something like "new people" that would have signs explaining the rules and how to join countries.
- We will only be able to be part of one country? Aww.
- We should be able to leave our country without joining a new one with /country leave
- 1 minute for most of the time limits seems too small, maybe 10 minutes?
- Will breaking a block remove a credit?
- If not, a country could have one plot that they break down to the bedrock and then fill it up to the sky with cobble or something, giving them a ton of points. They could then use those points to buy other land, giving them room to build actual structures
- I know I'm repeating someone, but why can parties only have 6 people?
If I didn't mention it, that means that I probably really like the idea.
Overall, I think 3.0 sounds great!
