This would make anyone who can walk in get the materials. Of course, the Nether is dangerous, so anyone doing mass-collecting will need the diamonds to survive.
Thus the rest of my post saying that I was blowing it up a bit too far. And that's assuming someone would put up one near spawn. If people are looking to profit off of the Nether, they won't do that. They'll keep the resources out of the hands of the people who can't/won't construct their own gate.

But then again, this is real economy vs. Minecraft economy. 14 obsidian (I think that's the number for a gate, I could be mistaken) is relatively easy to get even without a diamond pick, you just have to trade something else in exchange for it. Seeing as the barter system doesn't run exclusively on diamonds, anyone could make a trip to the Nether.

- Are trees set growing?
- /spawn brings me to my "home". How do I set the "homepoint" or is the home like my first realm?
- Where is the common spawn point (in here http://minerealm.com/map/map_large.jpg) becaus I lost orientation :S

-No
-Yes
-/spawn takes you to the common spawn point, at 0,0. /sethome sets your home point, which you can return to by typing /home

lets say you place a sign saying "taco girs land/house" laying claim to that lil area of land and then build in a 50x50 or larger area. after placing thousands of blocks, mining stuff from teh depths and bringing them to teh surface on days end. then later someone goes and buys that area you built on, making it their private realm so you can't build there no more, and laying claim to all your work and materials stored in chests.

is that illegal/ not tolerated? if not, please explain.

Land Acquisition (6.8): In the event that player seizes construction rights to a Realm through a purchase from the natural world*, any artificial structures, as well as any belongings, that are owned by a player (or players) other than he who is purchasing the realm, that purchasing player is required to allot the owner(s) of said structures and belongings 14 real-life days to provide for their own exodus. This includes allowing them full access to the deconstruction of their own physical structures, as well as the gathering of any items he prior to the realm purchase owned in that realm. The disruption of the property and belongings during this 14 day period is considering griefing/stealing, and the purchaser of the realm will be banned for committing such actions.

However, should the occasion arise where one player purchases a realm that contains another player's constructs, and that realm is situated a considerable distance from other civilization, it will be considered serious harassment for that player to purchase this realm. See (7.7) to learn how to prevent being charged with harassment.

In general, we will not intervene on purchases that seize control of a previously inhabited property, but in cases we deem exceptions (perhaps harassment has been ongoing for weeks?), we reserve the right to step in and force you to surrender the realm. Afraid that you cannot read our minds? (7.7).

*Not purchasing the land from a previous owner; was purchasing from the Server un-claimed land for 10,000 Realm Credits.
I hope that helped.

so if I understand this, and correct me if I am wrong. if the property is near civilization, I have 14 days (not given days by my evictie) to remove all items/work/whatever from the property. if it is not near civilization and it is by chance discovered by some random person. that person harassed me for weeks on end till he finally buys my lil area of heaven. I can apply for a hearing/ban request.

but this brings up a two more questions.

A.) What if the random person didn't harass me for weeks on end, and just decided he was going to be a butthole or that he didn't like my lil peice of heaven?
B.) why is it legal to purchase an area that has been built on, without that person, who built there, permission/say so?

Before I answer your questions, I would like to express my opinion.
All new players should not build anything at all. (Will get to this in a bit)*
They should just flatten mountains or mine continuously until they reach 10,000 realm credits.
Any resources should be sold to shops or to other players since there is a chance of people stealing/looting and also the possibility of death.
*If you do not build anything at all, then you won't encounter any problems such as people griefing, stealing/looting, or purchasing the realm the buildings were built on.
I know not all players are able to play 24/7 and some may only play once a week.
So it would take a very long time for them to gather 10,000 realm credits.
So my advice is, if you have friends from real life that plays MineCraft, get them to play MineRealm and work together.
If not, you can start making friends and work together. Be very careful when you choose who to work with.

And now, to answer your questions.
No matter what, if your buildings were on public land and it is now owned by someone. You have 14 real days to get all your materials. If they take what is in your chest, it is stealing. But there is also a chance that another player could have stolen what is in your chest, and not the person who owns the realm. If they take down your building, it is considered griefing. All players need to ask a moderator or an admin before they take down what looks like someone else's property. So it is recommended to put signs to claim your property so the person knows who to message. It is also recommended to put a sign with the current date before you log off so the person knows when you were online last and such. All public realms are up for take. So it is not against the rule for a person to buy that realm.
However, should the occasion arise where one player purchases a realm that contains another player's constructs, and that realm is situated a considerable distance from other civilization, it will be considered serious harassment for that player to purchase this realm. See (7.7) to learn how to prevent being charged with harassment.
With the new rule, the person should ask a moderator or an admin before the purchase of the realm. If this event should occur, you should not assume the person bought the realm just to harass you. Before posting a ban request, you should try to have a conversation with the person who bought the realm. Check on the forum to see if that person has a forum account and send them a private message. Wait few days for a reply and if all fails and no moderators or admins are on, just post a ban request. That is the absolute last resort.

The moderators and admins are not here to babysit anyone and they are humans like us. They love to build and have free time just like any of us. So before asking them to help, try to get the problem solved by yourself. If you still have any further question, please don't hesitate to ask.
