Is it just me or is mine realm not as exciting as it used to be back before 1.2? I have run out of ideas and nobody seems to be pvping anymore, properly. I mean, it could be just me but I feel something exciting has to happen, many of the regulars are leaving and not many people are online in my timezone. During the day there would be about 8 or 9 others and me, which isnt that fun, and when I am online while its busy it would be 11 or 12 at night. I know this is far fetched, but a wipe maybe? Not sure, any suggestions on what to do when you have run out of things to do? Thanks for reading, I may have just wasted your time :/.

Activity always seems to be a problem with these sort of games after a long period of time (Like a year or so) for many different reasons, I think that the main reason is lack of time and interest, because after you master the task of getting all the items you can possibly get and building everything you can possibly think of, the game gets somewhat boring. Which seems to be the phase many players are having at the moment. idk just my thoughts.

Minerealm is rather dull. And laggy.

Don't knock Minerealm. The server itself and the custom plugins are rather quite good. They are simple to use, require little admin intervention in the way of protecting land, and it's as legit as you can get with land protection.

The fault, if you could call it that because Minecraft is a spectacular hit, lies in the fact that it has been fully playable all throughout it's Alpha and Beta. That's two years for some people and while it's a fun game I can only think of a few that have had the staying power past that time frame. This is afterall a game where it will only last as long as your imagination. There really is no "game" to be played other than messing with people with hasn't helped things either.

Anyways I enjoy this server. It is truly the best one. Sure if I was in charge there would be more I'd do with the community but community is my thing. Coding is not.

People cry for change, and weep when Change begins and they can't handle the work that has to be put into establishing a new community. You guys gotta stop complaining and appreciate the server for what it is, dedicated staff, great plugins and efficient coded systems, and a community which is being slowly manipulated by the public that just can't stop whining about the current state of the server.
I'm not too old here, I'm sure a lot of you have more experience than me here, but perhaps it's good that I'm kinda new? That I still see MineRealm in the same light as you all did before. It's not the boredom and lack of interest tearing us apart, it's the community eating itself up from the inside, gnawing at other players. Trolling, posting meaningless ban requests. Look at NTC, a small group of not the most behaved players, but players who lighted up the community through humor and fun; a tight knit group of friends that made a community. we don't need new players, we need tighter connections between existing players, and more interaction between those players.
My personal opinion, we don't need a fresh start, we just need to make some changes within the server, and ourselves. If this made any sense to you, that's good. Share it with others. If you didn't, that's also fine. Sometimes my thoughts reach the page before I can shoo them off, ah well.
