I've noticed a lot of arguments going on recently regarding PVP. Really they are stupid and pointless, and if they continue, they are only going to make PVP no fun at all, especially if staff have to add in more and more rules to stop all the arguing.

Stop arguing. It is lame. Just realize some people act irrationally, and that its easier to let it go.

So, I think all the people involved in the ongoing arguments need to loosen up. Be more friendly.

Also, regarding the arguments... This is a good place to put them, this here thread, not public chat. If you have an ongoing argument with someone, try to resolve it here, without naming any names. That'd be good.

Resolve your problems here... hold on, as previously mentioned, why not just stop the arguing? Stop the hating? Or stop pvping? There shouldn't be a need to fill this topic up with your (the players) arguments.

Well I think I'm going to have to agree with agent on this one. Because usually when I pvp at spawn arguments will start Almost %60 of the time. So sorry to every one who dissagreed. But I STAND WITH AGENT!!!

Why don't we all go PvP in the the nether again? There is a bit of lag, yes, but no one fights like this. No one can tele, unless they get to a portal, were you can still attack them. They can't toggle, as nether is full PvP. The only thing they can do is log, and you will see where they did that, and you can get them when they come back. The nether was a better PvP spot than spawn was. There wasn't really any fights, and people didn't yell, and get mad at each other. Just PvP in the nether if you don't want problems.

They can't toggle, as nether is full PvP. The only thing they can do is log, and you will see where they did that, and you can get them when they come back. The nether was a better PvP spot than spawn was. There wasn't really any fights, and people didn't yell, and get mad at each other. Just PvP in the nether if you don't want problems.

I normally get 30 FPS which is fine, but it drops horribly anytime I render a new area. It's quite bad. :/

Anyhow, it really depends on how good the person is. If they are decent at PVP, then they can often get away, specially with the use of certain potions/enderpearls.

No way... Try running from spawn to Arcane portal. If you really don't get any lag, then please let me know what kind of super computer you've got!

I personally don't PvP but if you choose to toggle it in the overworld accept whatever happens and admit defeat. If you have to tp away from a fight just turn it off... the default is off so any loss is your own problem. I hate seeing arguments in chat because of PvP, its your choice so just deal with it. The rules already in place are plentiful, if you make an agreement to return gear after a fight then stick to it win or lose and swallow the pride of a loss or the gains of a win.
Personally I would really like to see 100 blocks any direction from spawn made PvP free... this way you stop stupid ban requests for carpet kills and if you are outside a 100 block radius you know what you are getting into... maybe a suggestion at some stage who knows...

TL;DR if you have PvP on deal with what happens, its your choice to have it on
