I fail to see how watching two groups of people pushing balls around can be seen as fun.

And some people would fail to see how spending hours in front of a computer breaking virtual blocks is fun, but you clearly do/did as you have invested so much time in MineRealm.

People have their own individual choices as to what they think is fun or not - deal with it.

Yes. Multiple people.

Meh. I think it's overrated. I mean, it's fun when you're gambling. And certainly watching them play is helpful in determining what team you should bet on. But from what I've seen IRL, it's overrated. Especially when people become "fans" of a particular player and buy posters of him/her to hang their wall. But I guess you look up to people that are responsible for winning you money. I can't imagine that you can like an athlete simply because they're so good at what they do. Never have I ever been so astounded by an athletic performance to bring it up in conversation.

But it's not as important as I'm making it either. I just don't like that people think of me different if I don't care about sports. To turn on the TV and to watch a game of tossing a ball around and then yell at them (maybe not realizing that they can't hear you) as opposed to watching one of the other 100 channels (something educational, funny, or plot intense) is not in my nature.
