I don't see how RC would become worth less, please explain. It's not like you're injecting more RC into the economy. It's just being transferred from one player to the other for real money. If anything RC will become worth more because more people would be lazy and start buying rather than gathering their own.

RC will be worth less than $0.80 per 1,000C. Now, when you are trying to buy items with hard earned RC people could outbid you with out even thinking about it.

Now, another question that you probably won't answer: How will this help the economy at all?

I'm not saying it will help the economy. I'm saying it will have practically no effect.

Even if people do sell for 0,80 per 1k, it won't be enough to harm the economy or make RC worth less.

Well, I think you overestimate the problems.

You think Minerealm is going to be sued due to gambling? Seems unlikely to me.

People getting scammed? A possibility, but I guess it's a matter of trading with trusted people.

When people through computers are put a large amount of money in front of, they will disappear, or at least consider it.
I also didn't mention once that MR would be sued, (Hallucinogenics?), I only mentioned that any form of competitions in-game would be classed as illegal gambling.
You under estimate the problems and think this will be a little thing that won't effect game play.

So far I've seen many people argue that trading credits for money would cause a disadvantage to poor players, yet I've seen no convincing explanation as to how it causes a disadvantage.

Tehbomb420 recently completed some transactions where credits were sold for money. I would appreciate it if those of you claiming that trading credits for money causes a disadvantage could explain to me in what way those transactions have put you at a disadvantage so that I may understand your point of view.

Lacking a convincing argument I can only assume that it is a baseless argument with no merit.
