People call Cerevox rude for the same reason they call Lightbulbs rude; neither of them sugarcoat things. Those who can take not having every idea of their's approved actually appreciate this. In fact, Cere poked some of the biggest holes in the realm idea when Intelli first released the plan. The system may not be what we all enjoy today had it not been for what you call trolling.

Because this is turning in to a arguement with a bunch of people against 1 person.
All of you are basically adding nothing, i was argueing with cerevox and im gonna make this very clear.
I made a suggestion to a ingame inbox
snit said there is a mod to do that but instead of getting to the point he just went out of his way to be rude, he said he wasnt being rude so i left it at that.
After that cerevox decided to add to the topic that it is just so much easier to use the website message system and Intelli shouldnt make 1, now im fine with that except with the line "Zomg, what a concept" that means he was implying that i was an idiot which is not needed especially when you can just say your point and end it at that so i refered to it as "trolling" when he was being rude for no reason.
Then he decided to find a hole in my post and drag out the arguement and which i will admit made some good points so then i was going to leave it until the forum moderator decided to add more to the topic when it should of ended by now, he said that if i cant take critisism about an idea dont post it. i DID take the critism i just didnt like the way he posted it instead of getting to the point.

No, not at all. You made some errors in your recounting of the story, but they are not worth nitpicking. Beyond that, due to your lack of sentence control, all I got from that was that you are totally tsundere for me, which I am okay with I guess.

However, the biggest point i want to make here is something that applies to a few other threads in this section as well. One of the cool things about the internet is that when you post an idea, everyone can rip into it, and once its out there, its out there forever for anyone to poke at.

If you post an idea without doing some basic research or thinking it through yourself, its going to get hammered, and people will keep hammering it till they get bored with it, not till you decide you have had enough. The moral of this story is, check over your ideas before you post them, or you are going to get bashed around like a pinata once everyone gets a shot at it.

All I'm going to add is that people need to read (and I mean, really read) the "Before Creating an Idea / Suggestion" post at the top of the forum. This will solve many problems and cut back on threads deteriorating into bickering.

Other than that, now I"ll lock this, because it is highly unlikely that an in-game inbox will be implemented when, as Cerevox pointed out, the forums already exist for such purposes.
