Intelli said he wasn't going to, although it'd be cool. I think it would just lead to tons of players punching each other and people complaining. You'd have to have a reason to kill someone other than just for the heck of it. I could understand if someone was stealing stuff from your home and you caught them - that would be a reason to attack or kill someone.

What are you talking about? There is PvP, its just a little cumbersome. You just need to use lava buckets and traps and lure creepers around, but its not that hard.

PVP in the sense that you can walk up to someone and hit them. Not using some sort of trap to kill them.

Buckets are currently broken and changing into random stuff (including diamond ore), so that method is out. However, there are still lighters, gravel, and mobs.

Is it possible to turn off Pvp in certian areas like block editing at spawn? There could be a huge room underground with a warp called "SafeRoom". Pvp could be disable in that room, and people could trade there. Also there would be some sort of staircase to the surface to keep newcomers safe. Just a suggestion, if possible.

the borderlands plugin allows you to define areas designated for pvp, or the reverse where the world is pvp, and certain areas are non-pvp

I have yet to encounter a server that managed to add in pvp in wide manner without it being terrible. It was either only possible in an arena which works well, but dosen't really add pvp to the world, or it was pvp everywhere and you have people with diamond gear hunting down new folks over and over.

Personally, i think we should just make a spleef arena with a lava underfloor and thats good enough.
