Glowstone'll never be spawned in the nether, nor will it ever be wiped. Intelli has said this over9000 times now.

Ok, let's think of this in terms of economy.

I live in Alberta, which has quite a bit of oil. What would happen if tons of oil was found? The prices of gas would decrease drastically, gas stations would not get as much money, gas stations would go out of business. The oil and gas industry has a fair amount to do with the economy of the world. Almost every country uses oil and gas and depends on it to get money. Without the money from oil/gas, countries would go into recession.

Think of Glowstone now. Glowstone is sold for 15-20k per stack. If more was spawned, the price of Glowstone would go down. Glowstone makes up a large majority of the MineRealm economy. People would not be able to get credits quickly by selling Glowstone if more was spawned, due to decreased prices. This wouldn't necessarily plunge MineRealm into recession, because that is impossible unless there are no blocks in the world, but it would slow down the consumption of land and items for a while. This could be bad for some projects, such as The Hunger Games Arena because you need credits for construction.

Sure, spawning more GS or expanding the map for more GS would make lighting large buildings much easier, but it would destroy the economy and people would not be able to make progress as easy.

Yes we need more glowstone there is nothing wrong about spawning glowstone to be honest I don't care if it is a server that spawns items many great servers do. And no matter what minerealm is the best server EVAAA

As great as it would be to have GS available after the last nether wipe all that really happened was gangs of elite PvPers killing anyone who took the time to mine it or people jumping in really quickly and
x-raying the crap out of the place to find it.
I'd say just leave things as they are. The only reason prices are so high is because people are willing to pay them lately.
Before the wipe when GS was actually rarer than it is now it was sold 3k a stack by the likes of NTC, if you want to moan about the price of glowstone then to be honest you need to blame yourselves for allowing them to get this way.

Like the majority *coughs* I voted yes but then I think the nether should just get wiped every 3-4 months anyways. Also just cause I hate that the majority of glowstone ended up in pvp'rs hands and so they controlled the market on it.

Either that or make it so glowstone does spawn in very low amounts randomly throughout the nether.

Since this has been raised from its grave, I thought I'd point out that the poll was originally the same as the title, but was later changed in a rather under-handed and disingenuous move. The results are rather skewed and inaccurate because of that.
