About Myself: I am an old school gamer who grew up on NES and Sega Master System, but my current game of choice is definitely Minecraft. I accidentally stumbled upon Minerealm several months ago and have loved it ever since. It took me longer to get into and make an account on the forum, since I typically don’t like forum formats, but now I find myself checking in and refreshing constantly.
I served in the military before going to college and graduating with honors (more specifics upon inquiry from staff). I currently work full time, but I find my evenings usually free and dependable for play.
Qualifications: I type proficiently, use proper grammar, and have prior experience working on a forum/thread that was RP based. I am also on the forums intermittently throughout the day, occasionally checking in on my lunch break at work if I have time to get into the office. I am an active (daily) player who builds, roams, and tries to help new players. (I often give out free bread and iron picks to newbies who wander near my realms).
I am an avid reader and writer, having served on several boards/teams from literary magazines in high school, to Residence Life newsletters in college. I think that I can help shoulder the task of periodic newsletters, especially if I had a little guidance or assistance (insider information, quantified subject matter, and so on.) I think it would be great to continue the MineRealm News Updates, with notes from the staff, both MR and MC updates, large community builds, and possibly other user submitted articles. I hope that I will be considered for this position. Whether it is to work freelance style or as part of a team, it would be exciting to breathe life back into what I think was a nice slice of the personality of MineRealm.
Availability:
-Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; 8pm-11pm EST. Wednesday & Thursday, 12pm-8pm EST.
-Weekends: off and on between 9:00AM-11:00PM EST
-Late Nights: Occasionally I am on between 10PM-3am EST.
