Project Creativity: The #1 private creative world!

Well. Hello there. Welcome to the Project!

Some people... well, a lot of people have been asking recently, 'how do I become a member of Creativity?'. Well, I'm here to answer that question for you, and give you a background on the project.

Imagine Project Creativity as... a server within a server. We plan to have the most prestigious world on Minerealm creative, featuring a heavily terraformed world, themed countries including Arctic, medieval, Asian and more. There will be entire oceans and much more when we are done.

CURRENTLY BEING CREATED:
Oceanic area (Massive ocean, with islands and such)
Mountainous medieval world.

Getting to the point, how do you become a member of our world?

Well, you have to apply! Minerealm's creative worlds create the ultimate environment for you to show us your skills.

Project Creativity, has a whitelist as such. Show us your skills by building something impressive in the public world, and we will consider that as your application. Remember, if we know you well, you have far improved chances. If we don't know you we may ask you to post a little about yourself in this thread.

NO PIXEL ART

• * except under certain circumstances. We do plan to create a pixel art area soon, but pixel arts will not be considered as an entry piece, unless i make a particular exception.

We're, not accepting anything that we could build easily ourselves, that includes trees, natural things etc...

Try to show us your skill by building something that shows us your own skill and individuality. The members of creativity are more than capable of building VERY impressive structures, try and see if your build stacks up against ours.

Some ideas for your builds include houses, ships, airships, natural structures (animals/monsters), mansions andgenerally STRCTURES. I can't bebotheredturning down every second person who hasn't the slightest clue as a builder. If you don't think your up to scratch, don't set a bad standard by inviting me a bunch of times, no doubt distracting me from my own work. Do VERYTHING you can to impress me first time! I can't help you if yr build has no interest, but if you build something great, I can help you perfect it!

When building your entry piece, consider the following factors:

• 1. Is it dynamic?
  2. Is it interesting?
  3. What style is your building, do you have a theme?
  4. What is your colour pallet?
  5. Is it detailed?
  6. Does it look physically possible?
  7. IS IT NOT A BLOCK?

Dynamic builds are important, if I come and see your build, and its a block, i wont even consider it.

Now, I know this all sounds harsh, but these prerequisites are required in order to keep Project Creativity well maintained.

The only problem at the current time, is that our world is heavily restricted, world editing efforts are continuing in an attempt to create a more dynamic environment to build within.

I hope that this world can continue to prosper, and that players from all across Minerealm will try to join!

Minerealm creative is a great place to plan things at the moment, but creative wasn't implemented in mine craft to allow people to 'plan builds'. It was implemented so builders could build to their hearts content, without worrying about mods.

Were doing everything we can to create a custom world, but we're very limited by world edits functionality.

For current members and aspiring members:

Now, this might sound fine and dandy, you might have learnt something, in fact, I really hope you did! However, we may not be what you hope. Project creativity is extensively planned, it's not just get accepted and get access to a public world THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! You DONT get to build what you want, you must ask a leader first (either iBiS or myself) and the we will lay out an area, as well as terraform in the location. If your thing doesn't fit in, your expected to make its own area, an entire new country, and at the moment, there is only 1 country and 2 under construction.

Please keep this in mind when applying, we may not be your perfect world!

I've visited this world a few times, and was really impressed. I'd love to join. I'll make some projects as an application to join, but until they're finished, let me tell you my skills:

Redstone Engineer

I've been learning redstone for a while now, and I can create semi-auto tree farms, push-button melon, sugarcane, and pumpking farms, and full-auto cactus farms. I can also create double or single, hidden or open, piston doors, not to mention many other cool contraptions like loops, which lead to the 'annoying door contraption', a little system of many doors closing and shutting at various times. Currently, I am working on refinining my piston doors to be more compact, but I will be starting more projects later. I can also create lighting systems incorporating glowstone, redstone lamps, or jack-o-lanterns into floors and walls of buildings.

Architect

I can create buildings of different themes and types, from ancient to modern, and modify them easily to incorporate the redstone features above easily. I have a good sense of design, and can create some sample projects on the main creative world as proof.

Sounds great SuperCreeper, we're much more interested in architecture than redstone though, but that will certainly be useful in the future.

We need a core group of players to get started, so it would be a pleasure to have more players.

I'll take some pics of my old house and my new one when it's finished and post 'em here. Also, I'll be planning out some buildings, so I'll make them on the spawn world and give you coords to them.

Hello, I would like to be involved in this as it strikes a chord with what I like to build - I am a more architectural builder, and have been involved in the creation process on a few servers in the past. I like to build more practical buildings such as...
- Working casinos
- Automatic jails and courthouses
- Automated railway systems
- Large traditional buildings such as castles and churches
- Boats
- Terraforming, such as creating a small, one tree, survival island in the middle of a large ocean, making it look as it was always there

I am currently in the process of gathering up my pictures, as my photobucket is now very out of date, and missing around 90% of my work, so if I have it done soon I can send you links to the project. (For now here is a screen of a prison I made a while back, and is not one of my best builds, but I wanted you to get a feel of the type of architecture I build and how I try to make my builds fit into their surroundings. http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/u48 ... s/View.png)

EDIT: Just so you know, I was a new player today and I am currently appealing a ban that happened within about ten minutes of me joining, as a large group of Team * started to grief the server at the same time, and I was caught up in the mass bannings :/

Yeah sure, I'll try and get them uploaded for about 12 hours time, it's 3am right now so I'm more than a little tired!

And by the way, it's Max, however apparently the website wouldn't allow maxii345 as a username and kept throwing me error messages, so I went for Susan Boyle simply becuase she happened to come onto the radio as I was filling in the form

Do you have anything that you are specifically looking for, eg. a giant medieval castle, or a dungeon that I could start thinking over in my head? I can be a bit ocd so tend to build everything I make about 10 times before I find it's to my liking.

This does sound like a very fun project :O

It almost makes me want to join creative just so I can be apart of it (as I have yet to log in to it once.) But I have too many projects on survival.

We all have massive projects going on in survival... but when they are done, i think im going to spend a lot of time on creative... building the perfect world!

Some more of our plans are...

Medieval City
Steampunk city (loads of airships, floating islands and such)
Water city
Much, much, much more!

The really limiting factor is the flat world
