So we have come to the conclusion that he was trying to get revenge by placing lava inside of spawn right. If so he was still attempting to kill in spawn.

Here is the story. Zequawn and I were playing a little game with Lightbulbs to see who would go across the bridge into the pvp zone first. We were just being silly and having fun. HuntingBuddy came from behind us and just started looking at us. So we stood there looking at him and asked him what he wanted through the text chat. He then dumped lave. Me and Zequawn started to run. He dumped another and killed me. I came back to make sure he didn't get Zequawn, but by then he was camping the bridge shooting at us. So we shot back when we were in the PvP zone. He killed us again with lava. We teleported back to the PvP area and killed him and took his on diamond sword. When we walked back, he started dumping lava at Zequawn. That picture is of him dumping another one. He also filled the bridge thing with water and lava. NotReiAyanami cleaned up the mess though. It made me mad that he attacked us for pretty much no reason. So I think someone that gets furious at the game and tries to kill, grief, and camp to feel better should be banned. That is exactly what happened. We only killed him once in a PvP zone.

Yes, he was attempting to kill in spawn. The rule says no killing in spawn, which he didn't do. A nit-picking point, but since it means he never did any harm and never intended to harm the server, i would think he would not meet the minimum threshold for a ban. Perhaps a warning would be more in line with his actions?

If he does it again it would certainly deserve a ban, but as it is he really hasn't actually done much.

But yes, he admitted himself that he was attempting to kill spawn campers with the lava inside the spawn zone.

I do think we have the whole of it out. At this point its pretty much up to the mercy of the mods.

Agent, if you had any proof that your story was true that would be grounds for a ban. However, with only proof of the single lava bucket, its your story against his and as stated in the sub-forum rules, a regular player requires a significant amount of proof in order to get another player banned.

The relevant rule follows.

1. If a regular player is posting a ban request, adequate proof is needed. Saying that you saw him do it will not lead to our decision to ban that player. There must be video or enough photographic proof that says he did it.

Thats most likely not exactly what happened,both of you will change your story's around to get the edge on the other person and make sure you win over the other person.
We need to get some other people that where there that might have screen shots to explain what "Really" happened because I bet you the other people that didn't make the ban request will have different views on what happened than just these two.
But i say he already butchered his chances to get out without a ban when he stated that he was trying to kill inside the spawn area.

I don't think so. People who have griefed before and repented have gotten second chances. He came right out and admitted that he broke the rules and he has actually seemed sorry about it. Also, one of the campers involved was lightbulbs and lightbulb's ability to enrage others is well known.

After all, he wasn't trying to grief which is the major concern. He was even cleaning up the lava at spawn which shows care for the server. He simply let his emotions over-rule his common sense.

It would seem that a warning would be appropriate and he should be considered to have used up his first chance but an outright ban for this would seem to be overkill and punishing someone who honestly seems to care about the server.

We were weren't spawn camping. We were trying to cross the bridge and then Zeq and I had to wait on Lightbulbs to go away so he wouldn't kill us when we went out into the PvP zone. It was kinda funny. Then Hunting buddy came and started killing people.
