A quick glance at the "bans" section of the forum shows between 5-10 new ban requests a day.
These are something that admins/mods are expected to deal with relatively quickly by finding out a situation in-game and weighing the pros/cons, the situation, the context etc.
There are a few players who overuse and abuse this system by making numerous, futile and ultimately time-wasting ban requests for people who they dont like personally or have some petty squabble.
There is also a great deal of people posting in ban requests where they have no direct information or involvement, which is by itself a bannable offense.
Maybe a cap on the amounts of ban requests each player submits in a given amount of time would be in order to save admins/mods time and hassle?
I'm not referring to successful ban requests, but ones where a mod/admin has denied a ban. Should there not be a limit on the amount of failed ban requests per month? say 3 or something?
