Thinking about Mass Effect 3's ending...

In the end though the ME trilogy is a classic case of the journey being greater than the destination.

So true.
It just bothers me how all the decisions Shepard has made up until that point was for nothing; I could have messed everything up, let a lot of people die, yet I would still get the same ending as someone who did everything right.

ME is still one of my favorite series though, I'm just disappointed in how everything ended.

See problem is that's not even the ending and there are different endings, but if you get the right ending regardless that isn't the ending Bioware has already stated it's a teaser to the ending and the ending will be with dlc which is utter bs.

I'm thinking about how plausible the augmentations in Deus Ex are; for example, the Icarus Landing System.

Hmm ive had this thought for a while..

What if.. We all saw colors differently. As in example.. I would see THIS as Red obv, and to me it looks the same.. but to you.. it looked like what i Blue yet to you, you know it as called red as well. And all the colors.. we saw them differently as one another.. but we all named them the same..

EX: Purple could be my purple but at the same time Purple could be seen as that shade by someone else but we call it the same. The Shades would correspond.

Shades meaning that
red and Blue is Purple for me

and then to a different person,
Red and blue is Purple

But then due to everyone having their own sight and possible color differences, learning the names of the colors growing up, and seeing them as we each see them, could have this happen.

There is no possible way to verify that this happens or not O_O DUN DUN DUNNNN
Had this idea/thought in my head since about my freshman year. my dad understands it due to his eyes getting messed up on the boat when he was younger. he knows what red is.. but due to the metal that shot in his eye, his colors are off. His red is now a bright orange but can tell the difference between a red and orange item.. Kinda weird if you think about it. c;

You're far from crazy... I've had this thought many times myself. It's wierd that other people think this... I wonder if this lends the theory proof, or just reinforces my idea that there is no way to define "normal"... ^_^

On a side note... I'm curious about life itself. What if everything you experience is a pre-birth dream. Like... none of this (i.e. the world around you, everything you've ever seen, done, or experienced) has actually happened, and this is simply the way your life is going to develop once your born? Again... there isn't a way to prove this, but it's still entirely possible.

On a side note... I'm curious about life itself. What if everything you experience is a pre-birth dream. Like... none of this (i.e. the world around you, everything you've ever seen, done, or experienced) has actually happened, and this is simply the way your life is going to develop once your born? Again... there isn't a way to prove this, but it's still entirely possible.

Then what about virtual reality? A simulation within a dream? Inception/Matrix, eh?

Similar to that concept, yeah. The difference is that this how your life will be. At the moment of death, you are born and live the dream... this could also double as an answer to "what happens after death?", though I would prefer to NOT to get into a religious debate... those usually end with me being called a blasphemous non-believer who will rot in the void till the end of time.
