May i suggest a cornucopia with dispensers that shoot random items, enchanted swords and such.... then allow people to find stuff in the arena in chests that are hidden, and allow their factions to send stuff to them for a hefty price?

The cornucopia would shoot its items at the start, creating a bloodbath like in the book.

Dispensers, yes.
Brb, getting arrows.
Own gear?
No enchants, and no diamond or gold.
As for starting item stuff, they just break a storage cart.

Yeah, forgive me if I'm wrong, they break the carts and get their gear. In the real HG, they run to get as much gear as possible before starting the fight.

I think it would be awesome if you guys took up certain fixed points, and didn't move, acting as a hidden camera. That'd be awesome if you could cut in and out of different cameras, like it would be in the book.

Or maybe that's taking it to far, IDK ;p
