Stereo Mix Problems

So, today I was trying to configure CamStudio and HyperCam2 to record sound from my PC using Stereo Mix. For some odd reason, it doesn't work. I have searched Google, updated my drivers, done everything I have tried before that worked, but it won't record any sound from my PC. Anyone know anything about this? I just need a little help.

Btw, I have Realtek High Def. Audio. And if you are going to say "yo brah u shud totly go an git fraps", don't bother posting at all.

Both of the programs are awful.

Get fraps, it records computer sounds.

Made it myself!

Some of the newer motherboards disable stereo multiplexer record...you have the RIAA to thank D: Realtek is notorious for this

You should just use linux

If you have some spare 1/8in TRS connectors (2 male connectors), you could wire up a feedback loop off your stereo analog out to your line in, but eh, that's a pretty messy way of doing it.
