100% Legit

In-game Name: Prodigy9
Item(s) up for auction: 1 cobblestone block Update: and 1 obsidian block! And a sign!
Starting bid: 1 credit
Minimum increments: 5 credits
Ending date: 3/11/12
Buyout Price: 1,000,000 credits
Auction Winner: 2,000 credits (Princ3ssCelestia)

If you're looking for a sturdy block that cannot be broken by people who lack both wood-or-better pickaxes and minimal amounts of patience, then cobblestone is a great choice! Without using tools, it takes a full 10 seconds to break, as opposed to inferior materials such as dirt which can be destroyed in less than 1 second!

If you have the good taste to consider bidding in this auction, then it is clear that you are a discerning consumer of hard-to-break-by-impatient-players-without-pickaxes blocks. You may be interested to know that there are some blocks that take even longer to break than cobblestone! I will include one such block, obsidian, in the offer if the bidding exceeds 1,000 credits. Update: this has now been implemented! The winner of the cobblestone auction will also receive one block of obsidian!

Those interested in having a role in the legacy of wikipedia's cultural references sections have undoubtedly become aware that obtaining cobblestone in Minecraft has been mentioned in the wikipedia page about cobblestone. In honor of your purchase of a piece of Wikipedia Page about Cobblestone Cultural References Section History, I will include a single sign--with which you can write a commemorative plaque in your own honor for making such an astute purchasing decision--in the offer if the bidding exceeds 2,000 credits. Update: the sign has been added to the auction, so the auction's winner will receive it along with the cobblestone and obsidian!

Students of physics would surely appreciate an opportunity to recreate Galileo's classic experiment in throwing various objects off of tall buildings. To facilitate your recreation of this historic moment in science, I will include a feather in the offer if the top bid exceeds 3,000 credits. Will a block of cobblestone and a feather hit the ground at the same time after being thrown off a tower*? Make a hypothesis, and find out!

Also, I have some end stone that's just sitting around, so I'll include a piece of that stuff if the top bid goes above 10,000 credits.

I understand that there may be some questions about the legitimacy of this auction. In order to alleviate these concerns and reassure my cherished bidders that I do in fact own all the items listed in this auction, I have decided to provide the following screenshot:
