Your right, I'm not 18 but I'll be 21 in may

Also for all of you complaining about my grammar, google grammar, find a grammar checker copy and paste my post, then you will see that my grammar is not bad at all. Maybe you don't know what grammar actually is.

You don't act like an 18 year old. And seriously... You are getting far to defensive. You are only applying and already showing you don't have the social skills for the job.

Not to be mean or anything.

The grammatical issues were mostly minor, like missing punctuation (intellis instead of Intelli's, for example). As far as I'm concerned the quality of the writing is mostly ok. The defensiveness... not so much.

Thanks prodigy.

My missing punctuation is due to typing the post from my mobile phone.

I suppose I was being slightly defensive. I only wanted to make it clear to the people that were claiming I have bad grammar, that they were making mostly false claims.

I am not saying my grammar, punctuation and spelling are perfect.

I'll agree, most of the grammar and punctuation issues are fairly minor. The general messages you try to convey don't need to excavated from a mess of typos and gibberish, but honestly the quantity of minor errors coupled with the lack of diversity in your vocabulary just doesn't make any of your posts sound as sophisticated as any of the other moderators. Also, a 'grammar checker' from google, as you phrased it, really should not be a defense. Any native speaker can tell when somebody has used a translator, or is relying heavily on spelling/grammar checking from a program since all those can check against are fundamental and extremely elementary errors. But, all of this is overshadowed by your defensiveness and inability to take criticism. Their claims were not false. A moderator would not have used any type of retort, especially one that is also based on false claims such as "maybe you don't know what grammar actually is". A moderator should be able to diffuse a situation, not just make sure accusations made against him/her are refuted.
Also, don't think it wouldn't automatically disqualify, but the 0/10 reputation really wouldn't help your case either...
I'm not telling you not to apply. If you absolutely feel you are qualified for the position, by all means go for it. All I'm saying is that if you decide to apply, don't let your hopes of getting the position get too high.

I don't know about that, but he's apparently doing a good job of shooting down bad applications.

I didn't say I used a grammar checker, I simply asked the people who obviously were unsure what grammar actually is to take a look at one. You said I do not have a diverse vocabulary, I have quite a diverse vocabulary maybe not as diverse as others, also big and fancy words don't make a good moderator as many of the people who play on this server are under the age of 16 and let's call them "big" words may be confusing to them. You also say my lack of diverse vocab. makes me sound unsophisticated, not everyone in the server is educated to a high level like some people, which means there is no need for such a diverse vocabulary.

Yes my user rating is 0/10 but I dnt know why, I looked at the post regarding it and it says something along the lines of, the user rating is based on in game activity, activity in world chat among other things. When the user rating had first came out my ign had not been verified it know has which may be the reason for such a low user rating.

I have no problem with criticism if the criticism is accurate.

I like how this was started to see if people know him well enough and whether or not he should bother applying, and within a single post it turned into a war of grammar. In case you haven't noticed, mods and admins make typos as well as flub on grammar and punctuation from time to time too. It happens, people are human, nobody is perfect. Instead of picking apart a few grammatical errors, how about posting useful information like: "I don't really even know you so I don't approve," or "I have had bad experiences with you in game example: blah blah" to express why he should not be a moderator. I personally don't really know you all that well although I have seen your name pop up quite a bit recently. I think you should give it some more time. Maybe you should get to know the members of the server better and the staff as well.
