I dont play minerealm for its features or its realms. If i wanted to build something amazing, i could put up my own server on creative. If i wanted to survive, i can do the same thing.
I don't play Minerealm for any reason bar one.
That reason is its community.
I've tried other servers, but I'm always drawn back by Minerealm's welcoming, fun community, full of fun and helpful players. Its always had a plain and simple chat, without any huge or random tags, just a few simple and clean tags which help new players know who's who.
Donors don't donate for a tag, they donate to keep the server alive; at least that's what i hope they do anyway. Donating for a tag is terribly shallow. I'm sure some, if not most, donors wouldn't mind losing their tags. However, the staff tags are clearly necessary, to let new players know who they can go to in case of trouble.
In any case, the chat on Minerealm 'was' one of the most lively chats i have ever seen, on numerous Minecraft servers. But with the new tags, of any form, i am simply un-able to enjoy the chat. I cant play Minerealm any longer without using /chat.
If this continue's I'm sure others will leave, and new players will be repulsed...
This is the first step towards the death of MineRealm. I hope you realise that.
