But in other news... High Hrothgar awaits!

I still fail to see what a map wipe will solve though. It won't make mountains taller, or lower the bedrock floor...it would just be a 'different' map lol.

EDIT: can't wait to see lots of these though: http://imgur.com/RLiZd :/

Here is the thing:

Some towers aren't very pretty, unless a skilled builder can give them interesting shape (like Intelli's).

I don't see many near spawn buildings getting much higher, because a skinny building isn't as impressive a fatter shaped one, around 120 height or so. I mean, look at some of the successful buildings by spawn: foxtops, TCDE, and maybe even my casino (I don't consider it as an equal contender to in-style shops, but nonetheless, it's pretty good).

And if spawn doesn't change too much, then public land probably won't either.

I was thinking of making a somewhat modest obsidian tower... I think it needs to become the Citadel of Mallyx the Unyielding. Or maybe not. Too many curves. Hmmmm...

I'm really looking forward to this, but quite annoyed that there will be no terrain generation change at all.

They should take advantage of the new system to create enormous mountain ranges... that would be a sight to see.

If they don't eventually implement it themselves, i hope some clever mod developer will find away to add randomly generated mountains to the terrain generator.

I for one, will be doing a lot of world editing!

I'm a bit torn on that issue. It would be great to see giant mountain ranges and deep valleys, but at the same time, keeping the height of mountains at current levels will make player-built structures even more impressive-looking by comparison.

I have no idea what Minas Tirth is. But, I would just love to see the Minas Tirith built!

I will be very, very happy if this happens. Regardless what people say, the current height limit makes skyscrapers look "fat", because they have too big a footprint and not enough height.

I'm looking forward to skyscraper metropolises.
