To all you people with ridiculously slow internet, I have a question; How on earth do you survive!? :shock: Maybe it's just me being a computer addict and all, but I don't know what I'd do if I had internet that slow :shock:

I live in the middle of knowwhere too! I got total highspeed! pretty good!

Also, Lucas1097's internet feels amazingly fast compared to mine. Whenever I'm at his place, it feels like I am going hyperspeed!

With that speed, there is no way you could possible play minerealm.
Between the times of 12-9pm I can't play at all. I have lag ranging from 1-5 minutes at these times. The only times I can play are early in the morning or late at night. The majority of my time spent on the game is after school at a relatives house. I might add a speed test of it tomorrow if I get the chance.

Feel pity for the horrible internet of mine!

W00daj: Have you tested it with things like Call of Duty on Xbox Live, or is that what you mean by first person shooter games? That is what I mainly want to do and I am looking for any solution to my crappy internet at the moment.

I have not personally tested Call of Duty, but due to the high ping I can't imagine you'd have a good experience. During my tests my best pings were aproximately 800. Because it is satellite internet there is no way around this. Its a physics issue. Signals have to travel 22,000 miles up to the satellite and then back again. So unfortunately I would not recommend this if you're looking to play Call of Duty or other FPS's....like battlefield...which is much better anyway.
