Wow, hyperbolic much Famas? The newbie tag is just let people know that someone is new to the server and may need advising as to how the realm system works. As for when it disappears, I don't believe Intelli's posted a server update to the Updates forum to explain it yet.

That's not how it works, make a ban appeal in the bans section of the forums.

If this is the same person as that FAMAS guy, he already did appeal, got rejected for lying about what he did, insulted the server and admins a bunch, and bragged about having an alt.

And on the tiny chance this is a different guy with a very similar name and the exact same attitude, he still sounds a little too arrogant and abrasive to make a decent appeal.

But anyway, what bcbarton said. The newbie tag is just to show that they may need assistance getting familiar with the server.

He saved the admin the trouble and just threw himself under the bus. I'd say his resourcefulness should lead to a prompt unbanning.
