Mount Roraima, part of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateau in South America, lies on the Guiana Shield.
The formation dates back over 1.7 billion years old in the Precambrian (Very very old).
Hmm, mixture of Hard metamorphic and sedimentry rocks which have been uplifted and have layers of weathering resistance Greensands overlayering sandstones.
