If you are woried about xp farming, make mobs that come from spawners not give credits. I don't think people intend to make this their olny form of income. Also, this would motivate people to kill mobs that are wlking around cities too.

I don't see it being too difficult, sure, the coding is going to be a fair bit more complex that what I'm about to tell you, but I can see it going a little like this:

if ComeFromSpawner = False then
begin
if Killed = True then
begin
if KilledByPlayer = True then
begin
PlayerCredits = PlayerCredits + 0.5 (or -20, depending on which idea you're using);
MobDisappear;
end;
end;
end;

Like I said, the actually coding will be a lot more complicated than this to avoid bugs and the like, but that's pretty much it for that particular problem being described, not too difficult.

What about every use from weapon = 0.5 credits
Just like a pick. Wouldn't earn someone much money. Might as well mine all day.

Also, maybe a regulator? 2000 mobs killed / 24 hrs = max out, no more mob kill credits for you today, junior.
It would get rid of auto-clickers.

This would allow for credits earned, yet barely any inflation. Wouldn't do much AT ALL. Gains you a reasonable amount of money, is a guarantee of a few credits earned even if you get a useless enchantment on your pick.

Thus, I say YES.

Everyone keeps trying to find a way for this to work when all it would do is make people with mob spawners such as my self (2 skelleton and 1 zombie) rich as they could kell them all day with traps that cause one hit kills.

its an idea that would wreak the credit system.

Bad math aside (36000 an hour at 10 a mob!? that's 60 mobs a second!), Making mobs worth the same as blocks would be cool. It would be way slower than breaking blocks but when you have to farm mobs for mats you still get some cash.

I dont think its a good idea beacause all the prices would go up on supplies and diamond might be worth 200 then and i dont have the guts to fight off that many mobs i'm a real coward. :cry:
