Because some people were curious as to my Sphere city suggestions.

Blue: The "Upper City". Contains 90% of the important city buildings (City Hall, some banks, ect.). Suspended from the ceiling and drops to around the middle of the city. Satellite structures that jut out from the spire are of course optional.

Red: The "Lower City". Contains shops, parks, hotels, apartments, pretty much anything player run/made. Set up in tiers with roads going all the way around the sphere and connecting tiers via stairs. Top tier would be home to the transport hubs (Subway, metro, ect.).

Green: The bridges that connect the layers. Makeup of the bridges (Suspension, arches, free floating, ect) is up to whoever is building them, but there would be one for each direction (North, South, East and West), about 4-8 wide (Maybe).

Also, I support a plain glass ceiling so we can get the blasted thing done and move on.

Naw, just kidding. The overall idea is good IMO, but from the diagram, it looks like you will have to travel all the way to one side of the dome to get to the upper layer. There should be a large staircase leading up to them.

Well there would be four bridges, and large ones. I think it would be a good idea to put sort of "outposts" at certain sections of the bridges that lead down to the lower level.

Edit: Also, Cog, we need you to scout out a realm where we can make the subway hub if we're building it outside of the city. We need to be doing SOMETHING while you're picking out ceiling styles and drapes.
