I don't see the problem anywhere.
And besides, it's not actually illegal to install Mac OS on whatever you want. It's only a violation of the End User License Agreement. The only lawsuit that succeeded in this area was because it was a 3rd party violating the EULA and then selling it on to it's customers.

Pretty sure violating a contract like an EULA is illegal, it's doing something you legally agreed not to do. The thing is apple doesn't actually give a flying potato if I put mac os on a few machines that are not manufactured by apple, but if I start selling a bunch of them then apple loses enough money to warrant a decent law suite.

Besides mac os is just a neutered (I think Debian based) linux distro, why you would want that on anything besides hardware it was designed for is beyond me.

Right now, the legality of EULA's is unknown. Some courts in the US find them enforceable, some consider them unenforceable.

And I do donate my clock cycles. I run a distributed computing program for one of the groups using the spare cycles for research.

At the moment I'm using Folding@home, but I'm contemplating switching to one of the less well publicized ones to help them out. I do have a preference for biological research ones though.

Nice. I've heard of the folding programs, but haven't really looked into them. Is it basically just using the donated computer resources to run a simulation like something you'd see in ChemBio3D?

Ooh, I used folding@home a good number of years ago.

We should make a MineRealm team.
