I'm still not sure I recognize the appeal of having the ability to shout out profane words in chat. Of what benefit is it to do so? I sincerely believe that the problem is with a lack of self-control amongst players more so than a problem with helpbot's word list. Not once have I been legitimately warned by helpbot for my word choice.

I said keep it, though I honestly don't care that much. It's just that it seems unnecessary to remove words from the filter--if your character falls in lava and dies, then shouting profanities out loud is a perfectly understandable instinctive response... but typing it into the game's chat bar and sending the message can't really be chalked up to an impulse.

This. The fact that damn is considered a swear is ridiculous, but it all comes down to self control. Every swear typed into chat is completely premeditated.

I can't say it's that profane if so many people say it on impulse, but wouldn't use other swear/curse/cuss words. It's not like we are all screaming fu** or sh** on impulse. damn is not a damned swear word lol.

I feel that words are allowed to be broadcast in Day hours on the radio shouldnt be ut on the ban list. It's a bit over protective.. Look at "I write Sins, not tragidies"... The part they choose to censor out is "god damn" but they choose to censor the word God, instead of "damn" or both combined.. Other songs also have this word in them... If its PG friedly for the radio i think it should be PG friendly for MR. Course, intelli knows all about music edits and radio versions.
