Honestly MineRealm is an amazing server because of the amount of talented people here, and the fact that it's a legit survival server that is up 99% of the time.

I'm just imagining the possibilities of a safe nether. Cities, awesome builds... Imagine how easy it would be to get to some of the cities far away. The spawn portal would be a major transportation hub to cities in the over world.

Of course, Intelli doesn't like the ease the nether adds, so making it even easier wouldn't make him happy. At the same time I feel like the idea of having all portals link to each other, so you can't get places faster, would be a better choice.

Now I do enjoy PVP in the nether, but IMO a small amount of people benefit from PVP. The majority of players don't PVP. It's always the same group of people killing others. That's why I'd like to see the nether without PVP, the builds people would create would be awesome.

Well, in my opinion, it should either be extremely safe or extremely dangerous.
If people want to use it as their primary method of travel, we may as well add realm protection in the Nether.

I vote dangerous, but still able to get the reward of reaching another destination more quickly if you can manage to get there safely. And no nether realm protection.

When Intelli said "we may as well add realm protection," I'm pretty sure he meant that the two ideas were equally unlikely to happen...
