So what I'm reading here is this: anyone that works hard, makes money, spends time building, or just does work in general, should be taxed more because they have more money.

In theory you're saying this :
"Hey man you have a lot of money there, but I don't, and that isn't fair."
"Well I work hard for my money, and you don't, you tend to just sit around and do very little to make money. I feel that if you work hard, you should be rewarded and nothing should be taken from you."
"Still not fair that you have more than I do, we should all have the same. So since you make more than the average person, we're going to make you pay more in taxes so that everyone is even."

Based on how you care, I assume you are a United States citizen. I hope that you are not 18 yet, as you do not deserve to vote. Not listening to what your president says is about as ignorant as you can possibly get concerning politics. By making an informed vote, you must listen to ALL presidential candidates. Uninformed votes are what can destroy a democratic country... that is why I did not vote when I was 18 (which was an election year). I am not going to argue politics here, so please do not respond with how bad you think Obama is.

That isn't what Americans want. Currently, the "rich" have many tax loopholes that they can use to pay a significantly lower tax rate than the "average" American. Some billionaires pay as low as 11% tax, where as the average American may need to pay 30% or higher. All Americans want is for the "rich" to pay the same rate as everyone else. The tiered tax system works fine, as people who are rich can afford to give more back to the community that they make all of their money off of. What's a couple million dollars to a billionaire?

EDIT: Also, This thread turned into a discussion on real life taxes... Minecraft taxes are NOT the same as the money just disappears... and all of our "jobs" are the same. You can't think of real life like Minecraft.

I do listen to what Obama says I just don't agree with he says, and when he did say something I agreed with... he did the opposite. The only candidate that I have fully agreed with is Ron Paul, hes been saying the same thing since 88. Know the difference between someone playing around and when they are serious. It will save you a lot of embarrassment.

Tax everyone the same. The wealthy will pay more and the poor will pay less....because if the same percentage is taken from all, those who spend more, will pay more, and those who spend less will pay less. That simple. Any other adjustment is Communism...or Socialism....either way it's bad.
