Deadspace 1 and 2, most other scary games rely to heavily on Doom tactics, Doom as in the game Doom.

Oh Bajeebers, how could I have forgotten Doom and Doom 2? I miss those games so hard... rockin' soundtrack, creepy doors and decor, and those spider brain things, with chainguns...

The reason he is running is because you cannot kill the monsters in Amnesia, and looking at them makes it easier for them to find you. But then again, to hide from them you need to go into a dark place, which also makes it easier for them to find you the next time they come around(your sanity drops in the dark, lower sanity=more creepiness).

Okay makes sense I guess but how can you play the game when the enitre screen is black, so black you can't see anything, like your T.V. is off. Lol... fun game.

the game isnt that dark. I had a look at the video and i could see most, if not all of the game play. It actually looks like a pretty good game and i might ponder getting it.

The brightness of your computer must be very low, i'd suggest altering it or plugging in your computer if its a laptop and watching the vid in the highest definition available on full screen. Like the real game.

Dead Space 1 and 2 actually were not that scary. To be honest, when Dead Space first came out I couldn't even open a door I was so scared. Then I played Fatal Frame and afterwards breezed through Dead Space without jumping once. The games were really fun, and had a certain Silent Hill 2ish madness(Silent Hill 2 was not scary either), which I throughly enjoyed.

I've played parts of it before, at most it is SLIGHTLY disturbing. Not really scarry.
P.S.: That pic is not made by nintendo, duh. Otherwise it would probably have the Nintendo logo on the bottom. Either way that pic isn't "cannon".
