Server was down earlier today when I had a chance to get on. I have all the time I want right now, and it's still down... ): You guy's shouldn't advertise 100% uptime if it isn't. I can understand it being down sometimes, but I've now lost count of how many times it's not online...

Hey guys, let's all chill. If it was not for these guys, we wouldn't have such an awesome realm to play on to begin with. Let them take their time doing what they need to do. Let them go and live their lives too. Plus, maybe we need it taken a way every now and then. It makes us appreciate it a lot more when it works. If I had a good portion of money, these guys would get a good deal of it. Their hard work to keep the server up is free of charge and I think that's very rad. -Andrew

Yeah, they work themselves to death as is, without all the sass... Go build something offline, or post in the forums, or watch a movie... This happened the last time there was an update, and it will happen again when we go to 1.5

The uptime refers to the time they are attempting to keep it up, not the time it is actually up. Any server that dosen't claim 100% uptime is a server that it only up for specific times, such as from 9AM to 7PM or something like that. Since this is unscheduled down time, it dosen't count. Or so the logic goes.

Yes watch out for the big bad forum moderator, I heard once he wrote a sarcastic rude message to a concerned donor who wanted to know why the server was down and then he banned a guy for an hour because he gave the moderator a taste of his own medicine...

My admonition was aimed at people like you who appear to have no sense of gratitude. This is an amazing server that is offered to you free of charge. You have every right to inform the admins of downtime or problems with the server. But the second you start to complain that it happens too often or claim that they are doing nothing to solve the problem; that is when you cross the line. You are no longer simply reporting and are now acting in a manner that is disrespectful of the work that is put into this server.

I am sick and tired of seeing how often the mods and admins are put down by some of the player base and I will not tolerate it on the forums. Steelblade5858, you have been warned. If you continue to act in such a manner, then you will be banned from the forums indefinitely. This goes for everyone else as well. You are to act respectfully towards mods and admins, especially concerning any problems or issues with the server.

I am sorry to say this but this is a topic for when the server is down. Not to complain about lag. It will be looked at by an admin when they get on. Please don't spam "there is too much lag" on this thread.

Oh and savesthedazed I agree with you complety. Some people act like an hour of downtime means that the admins have stoped doing anything, meanwhile they could be doing something else. The admins don't live on minecraft. Sometimes they are doing other things with their families and/or friends.

Lag is considered a problem with the server cat so techincally he's not breaking any rules or spamming just "alerting" the admins as you call it to let them know something is wrong. Either way I'm sure they already know or have known.

I am so very sorry to hear that your tired of seeing people wonder why the server is down. The player-base is not putting down the admins or disrespecting them in anyway, everyone here is human and is curious to why things are going as they are , and why the people who are responsible for keeping the server up are not responding to the questions that are being asked. There is not one person on this forum who says anything like "OMG I HATE THE ADMINS SO MUCH" or "WHY CANT THEY KEEP THE SERVER UP THEY MUST BE STUPID". So stop acting like there is. I have no problems with any of the admins, I like and respect them all and always will. I would just love to know what is happening just like everyone else.

My only quarrel is with you Mr. Forum Moderator, and how you felt the need to disrespect a fellow player and donor of this great server we call Minerealm. Then, once faced with your own aggressiveness you flip out and rage like a child, and ban me for an hour. And then acted like you taught me some sort of lesson in life. I for one don't stand for that, mods picking on innocent players like a bully just gets under my skin. Your no better than anyone else here, so please stop acting like it. Threatening people with a perma ban is ridiculous, unless that person is actually doing something to deserve it such as cursing, making racial slurs, or just trolling. I find you to be an unfit forum moderator because of those things, and I suggest you lighten up and not take everything so seriously, its just a game.
