So, I was mainly wondering if griefing the nether spawn portal, and then replacing the block, so the portal wasn't active anymore. Meaning that someone who needs to escape, isn't able to, and unfair kills are won.

The player you are referring to did not move any blocks of the portal, nor were any blocks of the portal moved recently. Most likely the portal was disabled by a ghast I saw flying nearby.

However, I do have a warning to you and Meepers. Do not make your arrow garrisons around any spawn portals anymore. If caught making them again you will be banned. This blocks access to the portal and also creates an unfair advantage for you when camping the portal.

I know about the arrow things, but I don't see how a ghast would fit in there, let alone get in there. Also, why wasn't anything said about the portal being out anyways?

How does a 5x5 ghast fit in to a 2 block tall hole?
And.. Jdankk, you cant ban us for the forts, there are no rules in the nether. And it is not griefing, it's building...

Well no body removed the blocks of the portal, the area around the portal was not griefed, so it wasn't tnt, and the only other way I know how to disable a nether portal is by ghast.

I heard nothing about the portal being out until you guys complained, and I cannot tell when a portal deactivated.
