Until more of our crucial server mods are updated, the server will remain not updated to the newest patch.
Minerealm is STILL up and running, I'm playing right now! All you have to do is downgrade to the previous client version, if you so choose.
Here's the old minecraft.jar
http://d.oo.fi/minecraft.jar
Place that in C:\Users\YourUser\Appdata\Roaming\.minecraft\bin
If you cannot see the folder with that method, go to your Control Panel>Folder Options>Click the 'View' tab>Under 'Hidden files and folders' make sure 'Show hidden drives, folder and files' is selected and click OK!
Another method to get to the folder is to open Run from your start menu or wherever and type in %appdata%
If you still have an issue with the client updating even after replacing the minecraft.jar then clear your cache Lios says. That should fix the problem.
Mac users, sorry but I've never owned a Mac.
This way you can still play Minerealm until it's properly updated.
Hoping to see at least a few people take this route.
