That video makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

I angered a pack of wolves in survival using the snapshot minecraft.jar, and I noticed this:



It seems now that angered wolves now look directly at you no matter what when you are far away enough that they won't charge. The image is a little small, but you can see it to the upper left of my reticle (the cross thing)

It's how you mark where things are in a video game. A collision box was the reason you could actually stand on the top of the ladder.

Meepers, a collision box is the space around the object (in this case the ladder) that can interact with the environment around it. For example, when you stand on top of the ladder, you are standing on a tiny little space AROUND that ladder. That is why people can stand on ladders.

Additionally, it means that you can take damage from falling on top of a ladder. If you fall from 100 blocks up and pass through an empty space immediately in front of the ladder, you will slow down to a safer speed. But if you drop 100 blocks and land on top of the thin box marking the location of the ladder, you will repaint the ladder.
