What guarantee do We have that the database won't be hacked and EveryOne losses their MC accounts?

Passwords apparently weren't stored, just used once to verify minecraft account.

Alternatively, you can temporarily change your password on the minecraft.net, and then change it back once you are registered. Mine was "intelliwontstealmypassword" for a brief period earlier today.
