Hello.

Are you tired of ugly buildings?
Are you skeptical about bringing newbies into your realms to build a house?
Are you afraid of people building massive cobble walls on the outskirts of your well built and planned out town or house?

This is...The Cobble Clause.

This is a sort of agreement, that people can send newbies to, and have them sign it (post "agreed" with their name and date)

I've decided to write this up due to the annoying factor of large cobble structures that I see daily.
Let's get to the agreement.

The Cobble Clause


1. I will NOT build a house containing more then 20 blocks of cobble that is largely noticeable from the outside of the structure.
2. I will maintain a proper external design. (e.g. No Cube Houses unless authorized)
3. My building will NOT be exponentially tall.
4. My building will NOT cover an entire realm.

By posting "agreed" in this thread you agree to abide by the previously stated agreement and guidelines and accept that not adhering to said guidelines will result in expulsion from the realm with no refund of items.

Lol my home meets this clause, though i do have a stone walla iwth cobble top row and cobble bottom row.. o-o then theres that hideous tower... ill remake that

Official? I don't think so, but I do like the idea. I don't think it should be official, but it's definitely a good idea. It should probably include dirt too.

It's more likely to become official if it stated none of the above are alloted near structures of potential greatness. :3

I do hear an important fact missing.

Some people DO use texture packs that makes cobble look good.

What if my house covers 9 realms and is really tall but made of smoothstone, sandstone, and stone bricks? Like does it only apply to cobblestone?

Those are all fine, it's just mainly "Cobblestone," in general that looks suckish.
