It should be clear now. /removenear is not a precision tool, so some of the other stuff around it (Floor and whatnot) may have been effected too. I consider that a relatively minor punishment for blocking a portal like that.

It traps a player without any way of escaping. They can't type so they can't TP out or even ask for help and they can't return back through the portal. Their only option is to ask an admin for help outside the game. Any time an admin has to walk out to where you are and fix something, you better believe that there is going to be punishment for someone.
