We got an xBox with Kinect also :D
When we tried to set it up in the living room it told us we had to stand exactly were the coffe table was for the Kinect to be calibrated :/

So yeah... were still trying to figure out how to work that :o

My mum bought my dad the newest xBox, 250GB without Kinect, as he will never use it.

Well duh, even in the instruction booklets, it shows to push coffee tables, etc, out of the way.

1. Wii's come with sensor bars.
2. Wii's don't work at all without sensor bars.
3. A Wii won't work tomorrow if it still doesn't have a sensor bar.
4. This is about the Xbox Kinect, not the Wii.

At any rate, a system missing parts versus having to push some furniture out of the way isn't really comparable.

So? Lazy!

We have to move our coffee table AND our couch out of the area.

AND there are a lot of things under the coffee table, and it was Christmas morning, and we were getting ready to leave for family lunch...

So yeah... Lazy.

our living room is tiny so i convinced my hubby to create a space in our basement for gaming..there were old studs from a previous owner's attempt at..something..but too expensive to finish it properly so we used tarps for walls and ceiling and got foam squares for flooring..cushy!..now no moving things to play wii/xbox/air hockey/foosball/darts..but sadly now hubby's drums will be moving into the empty space upstairs lol
if you have any unused space in your house get creative! a little creativity early on can lead to lots of laziness and fun later :P
