Windows 8, actually... I haven't tried it though.

I heard windows 8 is designed for touch screen PC's. If your computer isnt touch screen, i would stick with 7.

On a related note, I just got a SSD and am currently nuking all my hard drives for a complete reinstall and reorganizing.
