What happens if I spend 150k on 30 stacks of glowstone, and burn it all? Good bye economy.

*EDIT* That allows duping Fritter... Because as is, Fortune III drops 4 100% of the time on GS, so if it had a 25% chance of dropping 5, someone could use the whole pick on a glowstone wall they built, and come out with 6.25% more glowstone each time. Not to mention, you can get Fortune III - Unbreaking III which raises the duplicated percentage to roughly 18% per attempt.

The pointlessness of this thread is incredible. First, the only vote that counts is Intelli's, having a poll like this serves no purpose.

Second, note the clear split between once a month and never. I am willing to be that the no was all long term players and the one month is all new or less well-established players. If you are going to be super obvious that you are voting for pure personal gain no one is going to take you seriously.

Third, we have these reset-the-nether polls on a routine basis. Use the search function next time so you can just read up on the last couple instead of making one more.

4-5 months.

That way, prices remain high, but there is also the occasional chance to mine your own once in a while. If a reset never happens, then prices are only going to get ridiculous.

My post was before that. And I wasn't for or against the wiping. None of it matters anyways, you can always just get rich through mining / selling and attempt to control the economy yourself.

I was unaware that users discussing the server the play on wasn't allowed? Sure Intelli has the final say and there may be multiple polls on the same topic, but there are also multiple polls on other topics as well.

The Nether is largely useless to me, due to it's very nature. Once it was wiped last time, the usual groups raced back in and got what they wanted and tried to control the rest. I have no desire to pvp in Minecraft as it's not a game optimized for such a style of play IMHO. So let those who control the nether control that bit of resource, but don't stifle the rest of us from discussing it.

Just my .02 since I am still allowed to give it, for the time being anyway....

Edit: if people are sick of the same topic/poll coming up, make an official thread for that topic, and let people have a voice there...

If you weren't a member of the server at the time, then it's your bad luck. Would you also have your mines reset because they have run out of diamonds? Where does it end?

In any case, if you don't have it then you need to buy it. If you can't afford it then use an alternative. Need lighting in block form? Use jack-o-lanterns. Need more potion duration? Make more potions.

The nether (like the the overworld) won't be reset until the majority of the resources have been used up. You'll just have to wait on them potions to make the old glowstone go away.
Quick, mine all the netherrack and soul sand out!

Yeah I wonder why players make threads like these. The staff rarely listen to the players.
