I heard TNT is going to be/ is removed. But IDK cuz I"ve been banned. So if TNT is not disabled, please ignore this post.
I'm no server admin, I don't know much about the sources of lag.
But if TNT lagged, I'm sure that using less TNT will cause less lag.
I personally loved using TNT, and I would love to be able to keep using it.
So, if TNT causes lag, perhaps the server can limit TNT, instead of flat out disabling it.
How?
My suggestion is we could buy "TNT Licenses" with a simple command like /tnt. If you try to use TNT in your own realm, but haven't bought a license, the server will inform you about it. Buying a license basically means you "buy" the right to blow up one TNT block. If you try to blow up a TNT block, the server checks if you have enough TNT Licences. If you do, it lets you. If you don't, it doesn't do an explosion. You could buy many licenses in one command, so that way you could have fun with chain/ simultaneous explosions. Great for excavating.
All in all, this would reduce the use of TNT, thus reducing lag.
Do you support this idea? If so, what do you think the price per detonation of TNT should be?
