Not to bash on your religion, but it's even harder to believe in a bearded all loving faggot-hater who is a blue balled anti-masturebating sky roamer, letting rape and murder happen to children; and women, and starvation and earthquakes killing thousands for no reason, and hurricanes ending lives and savagely destroying people's homes.

Realistically speaking, human beings are the cause of all mental illnesses, physical deformations, over doses and most diseases the earth currently reeks of. If there is a "god," I'm sure he already packed up and left us.

Now what kind of overlord would allow the cruel self-destruction the human race has composed? Why would god let us kill other creatures that have equal living opportunity that we do; get hunted and murdered for fun, and some eaten like food for our own benefit? I'm not atheist, I'm not catholic, I'm not Christian, I'd hate to have to say I'm anything to get acceptance from the person who forced me into this life. Now you tell me, is there really some sort of sick, deviant creator who just let's all this happen? Or are we all just pawns in a subterranean creatures microscopic playing field?

I sort of agree with agnostics because none of it makes sense, and none of it can be backed up COMPLETELY with facts. There will always be that gray area of "What happened before time started," "What happened before that." It will never make sense to anyone living, but only time will tell if there is something beyond this life we have on earth.

So...let me get this straight. You're asking why God gives us free will? Or are you just asking why God doesn't just clean up the mess we leave behind?

If you're going to sit there and cry out for justice and ask for God to do something about it, then just take a look at what God did to deal with sin. Sodom and Gomorrah, Ninevah..good examples about the evil stuff that went on in those cities. God made burning sulfur rain down on Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sin. You want justice, then that's it. God does however, show mercy to us and allows us free reign to do what we want to do. You can choose to do what you want to do, or you can choose to do what He wants to do.

I'm actually sorry if you found that insulting Faeyn, I would absolutely love to believe there is a god. In fact, if you could make me believe in god or at least show me some reasoning to believe in him, I would "convert." I'm sure I'm gonna hear "No one can do that for you," "You have to learn to believe in him yourself," all that proceeds to make me believe is that there are broken records playing someone near us.

This thread isn't based on it, but I guess it's the only place we can really relevantly have this discussion.

It all just sounds highly fictional. But who am I to knock on what you put your faith in. If it makes you feel like there won't be an end to your days as a "being" or state of mind, then more power to you. I really have no right to be preaching my beliefs to you, whether my beliefs are that there's nothing to believe in or not.

I am incredibly sorry FaeynHeart, I haven't yet been enlightened to religions yet, and for that reason (and the fact that I haven't read the bible) my opinions are extremely biased.

Please accept my apology, I got into rant mode and finally saw the opportunity to ask the questions no one's ever answered for me.
