So all this is going to catch is the stuff that has been left behind by players no longer on the server.

It also places restrictions on future machines that can be built. With the new notifications to staff when "redstone events" happen, they can find and destroy any machine that contributes a lot to lag.

While it will reduce the amount of lag because it will get rid of some lag producing wiring, it is not any where close to a permant fix and I feel like it will not reduce it as much as most people think. Most people will just rebuild what they just lost. If someone then builds/rebuilds something that is a lag machine then they will get banned. So all this is going to catch is the stuff that has been left behind by players no longer on the server.

Heh, while not "proof", mobs last night were moving faster than I've ever seen them do.

^ I heard multiple times "A spider just speedh4x3d meh". In my case, all mobs had a secret "endermen" ability. The ability to disappear and then reappear somewhere else in the blink of an eye.

It's not a secret as to where they wind up. I'll spoil it for you. If you have ever been fighting a monster and it just sort of dissapeared, then it materialized directly behind me if I was online or, if i was offline, it reappeared at my current homeset and waited for me to log on. That is the only viable explanation for the multiple heart attacks I have had recently.

At least creeper explosion damage should be turned off on realms or realms given the power to "repair" themselves but I can see that mod causing lag too.

Fast moving mobs is nothing new. I always have had fast moving mobs when the server population would drop below 30. And when I logged in today I was still having lagg issues, so problem not solved.

Put torches everywhere. ESPECIALLY in and around any storage buildings you have... a single creeper explosion in the wrong place could cause a whole lot of damage, but it's easy to stop them from spawning in your realms.

Right now the lag isn't any better than it was, very disappointing.
