Reason I asked was because subways can now just use levers instead of torches, and keep them in the on position. So no problems with that clause in regards to subways.

I like this. I wasn't too happy about the fine on redstone torches, but this is a good workaround.

That works fine for straight power sources, but anything that needs to change state (say an inverter) still requires torches. So locking doors and such cost money.

Pro rip for all: If you have complex redstone wire systems, you can take screenshots before hand to help with reconstruction.

This does not work in the same way that torches do. I just tested it. Levers only power track to the side, not above. If you power every powered rail with a switch I can't wait for some joker to flip every single lever from spawn to +3000. :/

So dig a hole in the wall, put the switch in, and place the bock next to it? Or am I not seeing this correctly?

I still like the idea of detector rails. Not only will they prevent the lever problem, but they will also prevent players from riding on the incorrect side of the track.

No. If It's wiping all the Redstone my whole realm will be practically unusable. All the doors and such in TIBOL are linked and timed in with each other using Redstone, which all of it, i paid or had other people do, because i have no idea how to do Redstone. So if it gets wiped, anyone with a significant amount of Redstone in there realms are screwed.

But, I don't have any practical advice for reducing lag, so I see how this is necessary.

But, I still would rather see a full wipe instead of all the "surgery" that is being done to keep things running. Partial wipes, now all these changes. Like we are making a frankenstine of the map D:
