I don't really mind that term. If vanilla is an unmodified version of the game, chocolate seems like a good way to refer to a modified version. The term itself is hardly "retardspam," but using it to complain about changes to the server is just silly given the results of this poll. Perhaps the ONE person who voted for a completely vanilla server has the right to complain about "chocolate" but everyone else wanted some level of modification to the original minecraft game.

Concise version: the term chocolate is fine, but stop using it to whine about new ideas.

It can be used, but it should be a worthwhile comment. Complaining about changes of the sort that the vast majority of players approved in Intelli's poll is not worthwhile. If you want to pick apart the proposed idea and point out specific reasons that you don't like this particular "chocolate" suggestion, that's fine. But to just say "mmmm... chocolate" at leave it at that is a pretty useless post.

Seriously, the chocolaty thing, its not funny, or clever or even amusing anymore. It was a bit amusing when Intelli first did, but it has gone on too long. Its a dead horse that has gotten beaten to the point where the shredded mass of rotting flesh creates an instant reek in any place it is invoked. Enough is enough, please, let the horrible little saying rest, it is dead, no need to keep slinging its corpse around like some hideous macabre puppet.
