Minecraft: Encountered it on Youtube when I was looking for vids, found it interesting.

Minerealm: Found it when looking at Minecraftopia's server list, first one I joined, only one I'll join.

Minerealm: Gaudino and I were banned from a server for being "noobs" and I found this on the top server list.

Minecraft: I was watching Attack of the Show one day and they mentioned it. I immediately looked it up, noticed it cost money, and pirated it. I played on a classic server for a long time, maybe 4-5 months, then I got bored of classic and SSP, so I bought the game for SMP.

MineRealm: I looked on MCSL and tried different severs all I tried that looked good were whitelisted, until I came across MineRealm.

Minecraft: friends told me about it.

Minerealm: Where my friend played, went to the city they lived in, I ended up loving the server ( this was in the beginning of 1.0). I have been here since.

Minecraft: watched Deadmau5 play it on uStream for a while one night, plus he uses snippets of the game in his live stuff and videos.

Minerealm: saw it on mcserverlist, haven't checked out another server since.

Minecraft: A friend showed it to me in early Alpha, at first I wasn't interested, then I saw some youtube videos and started playing.

Minerealm: My brother and I set up a small server in Alpha which was quickly broken. I kept playing on single player but I was longing for the multiplayer experience. Soon after we set up our second server I looked on mc serverlist and found minerealm.
